Architecture and landscape: projects by Snøhetta

We take another look at a number of projects by Snøhetta presented in Floornature linked with landscape design on the occasion of the exhibition "Norway, Architecture, Infrastructure. Landscape. Photographs by Ken Schluchtmann” currently underway at SpazioFMGperl'architettura, Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s gallery and showroom. The exhibition includes two projects created by Snøhetta for Norway’s National Tourist Routes: the Petter Dass Museum in Alsterhaug, north of Trondheim, paying homage to Petter Dass, a key figure in Norwegian literature and in the church (1647-1707), and the famous Wild Reindeer Centre Pavilion in Dovrefjell National Park, winner of the WAF 2011 prize in the Display category.

Snøhetta also planned the visual identity and brand strategy for Norway’s National Parks, while in Sweden, the architectural practice planned the area hosting the MAX IV Laboratory, an advanced research laboratory in the "City of Science" in Lund.
