A.T.e T.Associati, Coné Shopping Centre

The architectural practice A.T.e T.Associati founded by the architect Elvio Casagrande designed the Coné Shopping Centre in Conegliano Veneto, which houses a supermarket and 62 shopping outlets in a shopping mall.

The commercial building stands near a large green area with new roads and cycles lanes. The architects opted for design and material choices that reconnect the characteristic architectural solutions of the city of Conegliano.

To contain the buildingâ??s environmental impact, the architects adopted various solutions. The photovoltaic system, for example, installed in the roof makes the building autonomous in terms of energy. Natural sunlight illuminates the interior thanks to vast glass roof panels, whereas for the artificial lighting of communal areas and the mall the architects chose inbuilt light elements.
