Terricultura – the Martina Franca Speeches

Set amidst the Baroque architecture of Martina Franca town centre and at important local nature reserves, the 2nd and 3rd June will see "Colloqui di Martina Franca", an event organised by the Costellazione Apulia Consortium, which, since 2001 has included around 50 SMEs from Puglia, involved in innovation and cooperation. The speeches highlight different aspects of a single theme developed over three years.
The formula began with the2014-2015-2016 period, centred on the relationship between wellbeing, economy, business and mankind. The second cycle, 2017-2018-2019, looks at the theme of ldquo;2030 Possible Businesses ” focusing on three important ways of doing business, one per year.

The 2017 edition will discuss “Terricultura – the Relationship Between the Territory and Culture in Business Development”. The focus will be the value of the territory and its physical and cultural resources in order to make aware choices in terms of globalisation, technological innovation and climate change. This is an interesting theme in which designbecomes particularly important, especially with regard to a future of growing automation and the use of apps at all levels that will see jobs and skills disappear and the relationship between mankind and machines change.
