Zaha Hadid Architects will build the Hangzhou International Sports Centre

Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) recently won the design competition for the new international sports centre in Hangzhou, China. The new facility will include a football stadium, an indoor arena, an aquatic centre, a river park and a series of public squares. A project with a strong focus on sustainability and biodiversity, including the creation of natural wetlands to help drain rainwater.

Zaha Hadid Architects Jinghe New City Culture & Art Centre

Zaha Hadid Architects has won the design competition for the arts and cultural centre to be built in the Jinghe Bay science and technology innovation district in China's Shaanxi province. The complex, consisting of a series of fluid volumes, planes and surfaces interconnected by courtyards and landscapes, will provide a range of both indoor and outdoor cultural spaces for the community.

Zaha Hadid Architects zero emissions headquarters in Sharjah

The new headquarters of the BEEAH Group in Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates, opened on March 30. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects to achieve net-zero emissions, the new headquarters could become a landmark for the design of sustainable workplaces in even the most challenging settings. Powered by a photovoltaic array, it uses the latest new technologies to meet LEED Platinum standards.

Zaha Hadid Architects new metro stations in Dnipro

Teatralna, Tsentalna and Muzeina are three new metro stations in Dnipro designed by Zaha Hadid Architects which will connect the eastern districts with the centre of the Ukrainian city and with Dnipro-Holovnyi railway station, the city’s main railway terminus. Construction has just begun and is due to be completed by 2025.
