Last days to participate in The Architecture Drawing Prize, the World Architecture Festival is approaching

The World Architecture Festival (WAF), one of the most anticipated events of the year in the world of architecture, is set to take place from November 29 to December 1 in Singapore at the impressive Marina Bay Sands. The Architecture Drawing Prize, the prize celebrating the art and skill of architectural design, will be one of the main events of the WAF and, for the second consecutive year, is sponsored by the Iris Ceramica Group.

C+S Architects and BALANCE Architettura winners of the Festa dell'Architetto awards

The C+S Architects studio, founded by architects Carlo Cappai and Maria Alessandra Segantini is the "Italian Architect 2022", while the BALANCE Architettura studio, founded by architects Alberto Lessan and Jacopo Bracco is the "Young Talent of Italian Architecture 2022". The jury, chaired by Portuguese architect Goncalo Byrne, also awarded four special mentions to the Bricolo Falsarella associati, Carlana Mezzalira Pentimalli, Ceresa Architetti and Atelier Poem studios.

weber + winterle architetti win the Premio Architettura Città di Oderzo

On December 3, the award ceremony for the 18th edition of the Premio Architettura Città di Oderzo took place, an award established in 1997 to promote architectural quality linked to a specific Italian territory. The winner is the project created by the weber + winterle architetti studio for the Mesiano Library (BUM) at the University of Trento.

The winners of the International Art Prize dedicated to Ceramics

"Geometrical Isometric Pattern in Yellow, Red and Blue, Moresque Style With Dashed Stripes and Spheres" by Eloisa Gobbo and "Clouds" by Daniele Donadio are the two winning works of the first edition of the International Art Prize dedicated to Ceramics, promoted by the Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group to celebrate the ceramic material and its connections with art, design and architecture.

The best design restaurants of 2022 according to AIA LA

On 13 September, the awards ceremony for the best design restaurants of 2022 selected by the American Institute of Architects in Los Angeles took place. The award, now in its seventeenth year, is dedicated to restaurants and bars, both outdoor and indoor, created in the last four years anywhere in the world. The competing projects are divided into three main categories plus two special prizes that are decided by the public.

Waiting for WAF 2022 Special Awards Finalists.

In anticipation of the World Architecture Festival (WAF) to be held in Lisbon, November 30-December 2, 2022, the finalist projects for the Special Awards were recently revealed. These are architectural projects that have been shortlisted for the WAF Awards and which stand out in particular for certain features or materials used to make them, in addition to the best small-scale project and two new special awards.
