Mallol Arquitectos’ Museo de la Libertad

Mallol Arcquitectos, Central America’s most important architectural studio, has completed a project of great symbolic value, Panama’s Museo de la Libertad y los Derechos Umanos. Funded by the Democracia y Libertad foundation, the museum contains a large interactive permanent exhibition on three floors, plus administrative offices. The building is the first in a complex that will contain three volumes when completed, located to the west of the city next to a park full of trees, which have all been preserved, and employs passive ventilation techniques made possible by the area’s temperate climate.
