An open air musuem for FIFA Qatar 2022

Qatar is preparing to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup by transforming its public spaces into open-air art museums with installations by international, regional and Qatari artists, including: Jeff Koons, Ugo Rondinone, KAWS, Rashid Johnson, Yayoi Kusama, Katharina Fritsch, Peter Fischli & David Weiss, Suki Seokyeong Kang, Shilpa Gupta, Shezad Dawood, Shua’a Ali, Faraj Daham, Shouq Al Mana and Salman Al Malek.

The FLUGT museum experience by Tinker Imagineers

PASSAGES INSOLITES, public art in Québec City

PASSAGE INSOLITES, organised for the ninth time by the association EXMURO arts publics and the city of Quebec, is one of Canada's significant public art events that return with the summer. This year it presents reflections on the environment, decolonisation and geopolitics. Among the works featured is the first installation in North America by the renowned artist Ai Weiwei.

Fosbury Architecture to lead the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2023

The Fosbury Architecture collective will curate the Italian Pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition curated by Lesley Lokko for the Biennale of Venice. The collective was founded in Milan in 2013 by architects: Giacomo Ardesio, Alessandro Bonizzoni, Nicola Campri, Claudia Mainardi and Veronica Caprino.

RIGENERA Fare con Architecture festival

18 July saw the presentation of the second edition of Rigenera, the architecture festival conceived by the Reggio Emilia Order of Architects, entitled "Fare con". Floornature is the media partner of the festival, which will kick off on 22 September in Reggio Emilia and its province with ten days of conferences, urban walks, workshops and other activities.

Kimmel Eshkolot Architects at the Tower of David Museum

Israeli studio Kimmel Eshkolot Architects presents its work on creation of National Memorial Hall on Mount Herzl (2018) in the new exhibition "Designing Memory" which opened a few weeks ago at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem. The exhibition also features the work of the finalists for the Dedalo Minosse International Prize, offering a broad overview of important architectural projects by studios all over the world.

Dorte Mandrup exhibition, Copenhagen PLACE Aedes Architecture Forum

The Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin offers its visitors a fascinating exhibition on the relationship between architecture and place. Five projects by the Copenhagen-based firm Dorte Mandrup are the examples that will allow the public to understand how similar functions, museums and visitor centres, give rise to architectural works that are conceptually and completely different in terms of materiality, form and structure, precisely because of their relationship to the place they belong to.
