Adjaye Associates designs new Library and Events Centre in Winter Park, Florida

On December 10 and 11, 2021, before local authorities and architect David Adjaye, the inauguration of the new library and events centre designed by the Adjaye Associates architecture firm took place. Built in the northwest corner of the Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Florida, the new building is part of a larger revitalisation programme for the park and has been designed to help grow and improve the local community.

Bruno Gaudin Architectes Library La Contemporaine campus of the Université Paris Nanterre

On the campus of the Université Paris Nanterre, the new building of the “Bibliothèque de Documentation Internationale Contemporaine” designed by Atelier Bruno Gaudin Architectes, has been completed. The building, constructed at the entrance to the university campus, houses the library, the archive centre, the museum and the offices of La Contemporaine. This is a major French institution, a point of reference in the field of humanities and social sciences studies that preserves and collects documents and objects relating to the contemporary history of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Duoyun bookstore in Taizhou designed by Wutopia Lab

Chinese architecture firm Wutopia Lab has designed a new library on the banks of the Yongning River in the typical water city of Taizhou. A project that starts from the transformation of a complex of disused buildings which, thanks to a white aluminium cladding has become a point of attraction in the local urban context.
