Evolution Design’s iconic entrance building for Moscow’s Sberbank campus

Swiss architectural studio Evolution Design created an iconic entrance building for Sberbank City, the Moscow campus of the banking group of the same name. The new building fits between the two existing towers on the campus, enclosing the shared outdoor space under its saddle-shaped construction. The architects respond to the challenges set by the clients by combining an entrance for about ten thousand employees, restaurants, conference centres and an amphitheatre, all in a single building.

Tradition and style, Visual Display for Dorbolò

Visual Display, the studio founded by Giorgio di Bernardo, created Dorbolò La Gubana Boutique, a new concept store and contemporary interpretation of the traditional Mitteleuropean pastry shop. Cividale del Friuli now has a new bakery and pastry shop combining interior design with the art of pastry-making, right in the historic town centre.

GRNDCNTRL, a theatrical nightclub in Shanghai

Located in Shanghai's affluent Xintiandi district, the new GRNDCNTRL nightclub designed by the PIG DESIGN studio, led by architect Li Wenqiang, stands out from other Shanghai nightlife spots. Inspired by the metaphorical concept of a "theatre", the design elevates the hip-pop nightclub to the next level of evening entertainment.

LIM Café in Suzhou Bay Sports Park, China, designed by Parallect Design

In Suzhou, China, in an area popular with tourists near Taihu Lake, the Parallect Design architecture studio has recently designed the LIM Café. A building that recalls the traditional hut-shaped wooden structures typical of local architecture – and the pre-existing structure on which the architects intervened – but which, at the same time, differs from these thanks to its mirror façades that reflect the local context, creating an important reference point for the park.

MVRDV interior design for Casa Camper in Berlin

In Berlin, in the vibrant central Mitte district, Café Camaleon was recently completed. The project was designed by MVRDV and GRAS Arquitectos, with Berlin architect Laura V Rave, for Casa Camper Berlin, the second hotel of the well-known shoe brand Camper. The interior project combines three functions in the same place: the hotel lobby, a cafeteria-restaurant and the brand showroom. The use of a striking colour gradient, achieved by carefully selecting details and materials, creates an important visual appeal in the urban context.

Vudafieri-Saverino Partners Interior Design for Terrazza Aperol in Venice

Venice has a contemporary, cosmopolitan new version of the traditional Venetian osteria, known as the “bacaro”, featuring interior design by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners. "Terrazza Aperol" is the Campari Group brand’s first flagship store, in which the interior design reinterprets details of the Venetian tradition and showcases the brand’s iconic orange colour.
