Simone Micheli – Aquagranda Livigno Wellness Park

The 21,000 square metre Aquagranda Livigno Wellness Park, Europe’s biggest integrated wellness centre, designed by architect Simone Micheli, includes a large thermarium, a beauty area offering a variety of body treatments, swimming pools, a fitness area, lounges, shopping centres and restaurants. The semi-Olympic swimming pool is completely surrounded in black, with a bright white swimming pool so that bathers dive into the light, all designed to instil a feeling of tranquillity and harmony. Micheli’s intent is to offer guests a place where they will feel positive emotions”, where they will be transported away from their everyday cares to a completely different world centring entirely on the self in all its forms and nuances”.
