An international panel of judges selected 36 works of architecture from among 280 candidates for the exhibition held by Merano Arte, curated by Flavio Albanese.

RECENT BUILDINGS IN ALTO ADIGE 2006-2012 exhibition
The exhibition in Merano organised by Merano Arte in partnership with the Foundation of the Order of Architects of the Province of Bolzano and Südtiroler Künstlerbund continues until May 6, 2012.

The title "Recent Buildings in Alto Adige 2006-2012" underlines the fact that the exhibition is a continuation of a process which began in 2006 with an exhibition of buildings constructed between 2000 and 2006. According to the curators, the second exhibition represents “evolution in the direction of complexity”. It is with this intention in mind that the international panel of judges selected the 36 works on exhibit from among more than 250 entries: a selection underlining new assessment criteria seeking relevant, effective, natural, radical projects.

The exhibition will be reduced down to its communicative essence (conceptual, visual and informative) and acquired by a complete digitalisation system created for the purpose by Paolo Mennea with Onlab, so that it can be transmitted, downloaded and reproduced all over the world.
