The new Milan stadium and stadiums in Floornature

Milan, Rome,

Kindergartens, Sport & Wellness,

The plan for the new Milan football stadium was one of the hot topics on the social networks last week, and so we decided to dedicate this week’s best of the week section to the big sports stadiums we have presented in Floornature and the architectural practices that designed them.

The new Milan stadium and stadiums in Floornature

The plan for Milan’s new stadium, designed by the AC Milan team itself with ARUP  and presented last week in Milan, has been widely discussed in the media, and inspired us to dedicate our weekly best of week feature to the large-scale sports stadiums we have presented in Floornature.
For Italy’s first division teams, in addition to Milan, we have also presented plans by architect Dan Meis for the new AS Roma football stadium. But most of the articles have been dedicated to Brazil, site of the 2014 world cup, to which we dedicated a complete itinerary in discovery of the country’s new stadiums.
The Brazilian world cup stadiums were also featured in a publication by the architectural studio gmp, which presented a number of sports facilities in 2014, including Tripoli stadium for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and completed a basketball stadium in Dongguan, China.

Last year’s world cup football tournament may be over, but preparations for the next are already underway, because of course it takes a long time to complete such big projects. Floornature has also presented stadiums for events of the future, such as the one designed by Zaha Hadid for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the subject of fierce international debate.
