National Architecture Week: The Role Architects and Design Play for Positive Change.

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) organizes the new edition of the National Architecture Week (NAW), taking place from April 6 to 12, the birthday week of the first president and architect of the USA, Thomas Jefferson.
National Architecture Week is a public awareness campaign dedicated to increasing attention to the role architects play as a force for social change and to the impact of design on our everyday life.
It's a virtual week on social media platforms including several events. You can follow the twitter activity by using the hashtag #archweek14. There will be a dedicated NAW homepage (http://www.aia.org/archweek).

The “Architecture Is Awesome” contest on Instagram wants to encourage the architecture lovers to share their thoughts and impressions. The recipients of the 2014 AIA Housing Awards will be announced on Monday, April 7, showcasing the best in residential design.
Stay tuned!
