GranitiFiandre and Active at Cersaie 2015

On September 29 at CERSAIE GranitiFiandre CEO Federica Minozzi presented to the press the recent milestones achieved in the research underway and products made by the strong> Iris Ceramica, Fiandre, FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, Ariostea, Eiffelgres, and Porcelaingres brands.
These include Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ technology applied to large tiles in the Digitalife project funded by the European Union (LIFE ENV/IT/000140). Application in micrometric form ensures uniform distribution of titanium dioxide over the surface of the tiles, creating a highly efficient project for fighting environmental pollution, as documented by the recent laboratory tests conducted by the Chemistry Department at Milan University.
Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ technology does not alter the features of porcelain, but transforms an “inert” material into an ecoactive material to fight indoor and outdoor pollution. At CERSAIE 2015, the GranitiFiandre Group’s stands exhibited uses of ecoactive porcelain tiles in different settings, not only on surfaces but for unusual applications such as furniture (armchairs, chairs, etc.) and bathroom fittings (sinks, shower trays) to create total look solutions.
