Germany Projects and Expo Milano 2015 Pavilion the best of the week

On June 26 Berlin saw the inauguration of the new Fab Architectural Bureau exhibition, SALA ARCHITETTURA BERLIN, organised in collaboration with studios blauraum + sbca. Fiandre and Porcelaingres’s gallery and showroom in the German capital offers inspiration to look back over projects and exhibitions presented recently in Floornature from Germany, starting with the German pavilion for Expo Milano 2015.

Also in the German capital, home of FAB Berlin, it is well worth noting the first edition of the Festival for Architecture and Urban Alternatives, presented in Livegreenblog, or the event under way at Architektur Galerie Berlino, an exhibition of the work of Love Architecture: Light On.

Going on to Frankfurt, we find the expansion of Städtische Bühnen theatre by architectural studio gmp and the new Brioni store by the Italian studio Park Associati. Another interior design project covered recently in Livegreenblog is Bosco, an Italian restaurant in Berlin.

In Essen, Krupp-Park is an urban redevelopment project by Andreas Kipar of landscape architecture studio KLA kiparlandschaftsarchitekten of Duisburg and LAND of Milan. In another project on an urban scale, in Dusseldorf, architect Daniel Libeskind designed an office and shopping complex known as Ko-Bogen Dusseldorf. Let us conclude by recalling famous German architect Frei Otto, winner of the 2015 Pritzker Prize, who passed away in March.
