Volker Halbach (blauraum) and Sally Below, curators of FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, hosted architects Yoraco González (Serein Konzeptkunst und Mikroarkitektur, Berlin), Ludwig Heimbach (Ludwig Heimbach Architektur, Cologne/Berlin), Eva Maria Lang (Knerer und Lang Architekten, Dresden/Munich) and Sylvia Leydecker (100% interior, Cologne) at the third event on the transformation of space at FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin.

Sala architettura berlin 4 Workshop #3 “flexible surfaces” was the title of the third workshop, completing a series of events which began with the two previous workshops: “light surfaces” and “interactive surfaces”. Step by step, three handpicked teams of architects planned the transformation of space in the Sarotti-Höfe, which contains the Fiandre showroom and architecture gallery in Berlin, creating a multifunctional space underlining the great flexibility of Fiandre’s maxi ceramic tiles.

Like the previous workshops, the third workshop also concluded with a conference, held by architect and artist Jürgen Mayer H., (J. MAYER H. und Partner, Architekten, Berlin), and a social event.
