Fiandre seminar for the Foundation of Surveyors and Degree-holding Surveyors of the Province of Milan

In partnership with Floornature and with the Foundation of Surveyors and Degree-holding Surveyors of the Province of Milan, FAB Architectural Bureau held two training courses for surveyors: “The ventilated roof: from technical feasibility to the aesthetic and formal component ” and “Anti-bacterial and anti-pollutant ceramic: how and where it is made”.
During the lessons, participants demonstrated great interest in application of Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ technology to large ceramic slabs through the Digitalife project.
The lessons held in the classrooms at FAB Architectural Bureau in Milan, at Via Solferino 40, were completed with a tour of FAB Architectural Bureau in Castellarano, the production line where the maxi tiles are made, with a brand new fully automated cutting and packing line.
The tour offered a unique opportunity to take a close-up look at the maxi tile production process, from unformed material to finished tile and the cutting and packing of the product. The installation stage was the subject of a lesson held by Technoriunite, looking at the stages involved in laying maxi tiles, from arrival on the construction site and handling of the products to the techniques used to cut and lay the tiles.
The day concluded with a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. The museum, designed by Archilinea, demonstrates practical applications of Fiandre products, both as a ventilated façade and as a covering for flat surfaces.
