The “Building in the Metropolis MX” exhibition at Aedes Am Pfefferberg architecture gallery is the first time the work of Gaeta-Springall has been shown in Europe, other than the 2014 Biennale in Venice, where they were curators of the exhibition “Condemned to be modern” at the Mexican pavilion.
Highly regarded in Mexico, the architects have addressed a great variety of challenges in their work, ranging from a home for 4 families to the “Siroco and Mistral Towers” for hundreds of people in Mexico City. Their approach to design stands out for its special focus on space as the true location of urban life.
An important project featured in the exhibition is the “Memorial to the victims of violence” which opened last year, paid for with money confiscated from the drug cartels, which has attracted attention all over the world.
On Friday, July 11, Floornature will attend the opening of the “Building in the Metropolis MX” exhibition of the work of Gaeta-Springall Architects at Aedes Gallery and share our impressions with our readers. Follow us with the hashtag #floornaturelive.
