Iris ceramica - FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti - Eiffelgres at Cersaie 2017

Exhibition Design is the title of the Iris ceramica, FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti and Eiffelgres stand designed by Area 17. It is an imposing dark shell with a large, luxuriant green heart, an oasis that welcomed visitors to Cersaie 2017 to introduce them to the world of maxi porcelain slabs produced by brands in the Iris ceramica group.

The product is the key element to interpreting the stand designed by Area-17 for Iris ceramica, FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti and Eiffelgres. The architects focussed on the expressive nature of the material, to display it without narrative artifice and especially to exalt the aesthetic qualities, textures and flexibility of the large slabs.
An imposing outer shell was therefore made with shiny MaxFine Marmi Marquina , maxi slabs used both whole and broken, to create pleated inserts and invisible containers.

Large cuts lighten the outer volume and reveal its green heart. When crossing the monumental entrance, visitors are faced with the monolithic reception counter, created with MaxFine Veined White and Black Marquina. The display inside, surrounded by a tropical garden, is delimited on the right by a meeting room. A closed space with a transparent wall displays the 7 new product ranges that have been added to Diesel Living with Iris Ceramicacollection. The garden is the final destination, an inviting relaxation area after the display-narration of the Iris Ceramica Group products . The large slabs appear as works of art, interspersed with video installations that recount the production phases and the new company showroom, inaugurated at the same time as Cersaie and also designed by Area-17.
