Andrea Castrignano Total White design in Milan

Minimal spaces and white are the key concepts in the interior design project by architect Andrea Castrignano for an art collector’s home in Milan.

The architect joined together 3 adjacent apartments, reducing the space used up by hallways to a minimum in favour of big, brightly lit spaces where children can play, especially in the living area.

A few key architectural elements set up a dialogue with the works of art and items of designer furniture by world-renowned masters of architecture, such as the LC4 chaise-longue designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. It is one of only a few coloured elements, in black and red, which stand out in the total white living room and help distinguish between different areas intended for relaxation, dining and conversation.
