In Uttara, near the Gazipur industrial area and Hazrat Sahjalal international airport north of the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, architect Md. Shahrier Hasan designed the interiors of the Masco Group’s offices, on the 14th floor of a commercial building in the form of an elongated rectangle.
The architect chose neutral colours and natural materials such as brick, stone and wood as the key elements in the interior design project. The layout of the offices may be divided into two areas, distinguished by their colours. The executive offices are located in a large open space with workstations in contrasting colours (black and white). In the management offices, leather furnishings and different treatments of the walls (made of brick, covered with wood, or concrete) distinguish spaces for meeting with customers and conducting negotiations.
