Homage to Giorgio Armani

At this January’s Pitti Uomo in Florence, Felice Limosani paid homage to the world-renowned stylist with an installation entitled Earth and Water.

The highly material surface of the panel is a visual metaphor for two elements essential to human life.
A chromatic harmony underlined by chiaroscuro effects and different perspectives establishes a new harmony between our planet and the people who live on it. Harmony becomes the common denominator of the famous Italian designer’s unmistakeable style.

The work was produced in collaboration with 3D Surface, a Florence-based company that managed to give Felice Limosani’s idea concrete form by creating a texture enlivened by lights and colours, creating visual magic for the historic concept store LuisaViaRoma in Florence.
