GranitiFiandre presents new products for 2012

GranitiFiandre has chosen a unique location symbolising the company’s commitment to introducing stylistic and technological innovation in production as the venue for presentation of its new high quality porcelain stoneware tiles to important architects and distributors from all over the world: Mugello International Racetrack.

The racetrack is located in a unique natural setting, in view of which the racetrack management has chosen to make its new stands using porcelain stoneware tiles produced using GranitiFiandre’s innovative ACTIVE Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ method, which uses titanium dioxide (TiO2) on the tiles to cut the amount of toxic pollutants significantly.

Graziano Verdi, Chairman and CEO of Fiandre and the Iris Ceramica Group, presented the group’s new products to the trade press and offered his comments:
“I’m proud to present the fruit of our hard work in a true institution of motor sports, and of the environment too, as the Mugello racetrack has recognised the importance of our ACTIVE Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ innovation and the real benefits it offers both for people using the racetrack and for its surroundings.”

The presentation concluded with an awards ceremony for the second Active Architecture contest, an initiative created to encourage the study of environmentally friendly architecture.
