The nine projects on exhibit at the Architekturzentrum in Vienna are considered exemplary instances of Polish residential architecture.
The exhibition focuses on nine single-family homes, nine constructions reflecting today’s trends in architecture even while standing out for their unique design, ability to blend into their surroundings, or response to issues of ecology and energy conservation.
The projects are by the architectural practices Piotr Brzoza/Marcin Kwietowicz, hayakawa/kowalczyk, hs99, Robert Konieczny, Piotr Kuczia, jojko+nawrocki architekci, MAAS, medusa group and Grzegorz Stiasny.
The material on exhibit includes drawings, models and photographs. The photographic coverage was created specifically for the exhibition by Juliusz Sokołowsk, one of Poland’s greatest architectural photographers.
