Giuseppe Tortato tells Floornature about the architectural choices underlying one of Milan’s most interesting industrial conversion projects: La Forgiatura
To mark the completion of La Forgiatura in Milan, Floornature meets Giuseppe Tortato in the former steel mill, converted into a new multipurpose centre: a redevelopment project in pursuit of sustainability, in which landscape and history come together.
The project, on a major road to the Expo site, will be the centre of an important district in Milan which is currently undergoing major redevelopment and renewal.
