Inspired by the exhibition “From Portaluppi to Castellini - Three generation of interior design projects”, currently under way at SpazioFMGperl'Architettura, the third event in the Italia per Interni series, we take another look at home interior projects presented recently in Floornature.

Designer interiors: interior designs for the home

Until March 25, SpazioFMGperl'Architettura hosts the third event in the Italia per Interni series, “From Portaluppi to Castellini - Three generations of interior design projects”, comparing photographs of interiors designed by architects Pietro Portaluppi, Piero and Nicolò Castellini.
The exhibition offers inspiration for rediscovering some of the home interior projects we have presented in Floornature over the past few weeks.
Let's start with a renovation project by MESURA – Partners in Architecture in a historic building in the Borne barrio in Barcelona.
Then we go to Vilnius, in Lithuania, where a team including architects Tomas Umbrasas, Aidas Barzda, Tautvydas Vileikis, and Rokas Kontvainis designed the interior of a collector's penthouse apartment.

In Italy, architect Paolo Carli Moretti worked around the concept of the darkroom in a home with vast views over the city of Ravenna. Noses Architects, working in Rome, and Enrico Galeazzi in Varano de Melegari, Parma, chose an element (a bookshelf and a wall, respectively) to be assigned a key role in their home interiors.
