Simplicity and elegance: Trace porcelain tiles

Coming up with the best designs for surfaces means offering a series of solutions that may be adapted to suit changing personal tastes over time. This goal requires profound experience in working techniques, as the final product must meet all the technical and aesthetic requirements of homes, commercial spaces and public places. Surfaces have a role to play in all the architectural needs of the present and in personal interior design choices which tend to change with time: a tough challenge, in view of highly varied, dynamic nature of today’s spaces. Extreme synthesis often leads to minimalist design, the style that is most neutral, permitting future changes in the style of furnishings.

This form of design may be summed up in Van Der Rohe’s famous motto "Less is More" and in Rams’ principle "Good Design is as Little Design as Possible", focusing the attention on the essential, and above all on the absence of superfluous elements that could obstruct our overall view of the project, in the present and in the future. This is the case of the design of Eiffelgres surface coverings, which study the qualities of floor and wall covering materials in depth to make surfaces based on "simplicity and aesthetic rigour ". The new collection of Trace porcelain tiles takes this minimalist concept even further in a contemporary interpretation of the material qualities and colours of natural stone. Available in six colour variants (Ice, Beige, Fog, Smoke, Carbon and Mahogany, in order of chromatic gradation) and two finishes (natural and bush-hammered), Trace enriches floors and walls with a warm, material feeling.

These features of practicality and adaptability, combined with the delicacy of the lighter hues and the elegance of the darker ones, make Trace high-tech porcelain tiles perfect for covering the floors and walls of commercial buildings as well as homes in all styles. Even with a small number of elements, floors covered with Trace porcelain tiles go perfectly with many different styles of interior decoration, both now and in the future, thanks to the abstract, timeless nature of minimalist design that goes beyond passing fads and styles.
