Thailand Landscape Architecture Awards 2015

Landscaping is the green heart of architecture and design and Livegreenblog is very pleased to announce the Thailand Landscape Architecture Awards 2015, a competition introduced by the Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA).



Landscape architecture is the art of studying, planning and creating large outdoor spaces such as parks and gardens. 
Which is why it has its own space in Livegreenblog, where we can share with our readers the Thailand Landscape Architecture Awards 2015, a competition introduced by the Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA). The aim of this initiative is to promote the vision and culture of landscaping, and more specifically the excellence of Thai landscape architects, with the wider international audience. 




Based on the theme “Landscape Vision 2015 by TALA” the competition looks at environmental issues and natural disasters that have made it rather urgent to rethink and reconsider the role of landscape architects and how their work can impact and reshape our environment for its protection now and in the future.





The best projects were selected in the various categories and sub-categories of the TALA awards –Private Residences, General Design (Residential Complex, Commercial, Hospitality, Institutional, Public Space, Conservatory, Master Planning) Specialty Design, Community Service / Workshop – to showcase the beauty and importance of Thai landscape architecture, which we will be exploring further over the upcoming weeks. Some of the participating studios include: SHMA, TROP, P Landscape, L49, PL Design, IXORA Design, LOKOH= Co.,Ltd., LANDPROCESS,  XSITE design studio, Group Three Design, Sanitas Studio, KV ART&DESIGN, Axis Landscape, RAFA design Office, Openbox, Belt Collins, Emphasite, Green Architects,Group Tree Design, Inside Out design, AKSE design, Concept I Design, Landscape Tectonix, Red Landscape, Orient vista, KTGY, Bermuda, On Ground, Landscape of Bangkok, Landscape Planning, Beaumont Partnership, A plus L, Studio TAILA and 1819 Design.



The awards night will be celebrated on 21 March at the Bangkok Art and Cultural Center, which will also exhibit the winning projects and special mentions until 28 March.
