Green Dot Awards for the Italian non-profit association H2O.

New awards for the non-profit association H2O new scenarios for survival. After arriving second in the media category of the 2011 edition of the prestigious Green Dot Awards in Los Angeles, the Italian team, chosen from amongst two thousand participants, won four more awards in the 2012 edition.



An unmatched first for an Italian sustainability initiative: four awards for the non-profit association H2O new scenarios for survival.



The AQUATECTURE project won two awards at the international Green Dot Awards: first place in the non-profit services and second in the services category.



AQUATECTURE proposes a series of public water supply stations, micro buildings created for actual construction on the territory equipped with state-of-the-art technology, designed by international architects and designers.



The project is explained in a travelling exhibition and a publication promoting the concept of saving water along with meetings throughout the country.



On the other hand, the book Acqua dueO by Riccardo Dalisi published by H2O Edizioni won first place in both the Print and Services categories.



The international board of judges appreciated the artistic and communicative value of the publication as well as the importance of spreading the word and encouraging the need to change behaviour and lifestyles as ideal ways of divulging the decrease in this precious resource.






The book was published thanks to a group effort, or rather, financed by spontaneous contributions from all those involved who believe in the project.
The Green Dot Awards 2012 reward the non-profit association H20’s spirit of initiative – a prodigious acknowledgement for “green living” made in Italy.
