Biography

Roger Diener has entered the office 1980, established 1942 by Marcus Diener. He graduated from the ETH, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, in Zurich.
Besides his work in the Basel practice he tenured professor for Architecture and Design at the ETH in Zurich.
Since 1990, visiting professor at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Cambridge MA, at the School of Architecture in Vienna, at the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam, and at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
2002, French Academy of Architecture's Medaille d'Or. Various publications and exhibitions in connection with his own design work and teaching.
Member of SIA, Society of Swiss Engineers and Architects, BSA, Association of Swiss Architects, and Honorary Member of BDA, Association of German Architects.
