Alvaro Siza, works and projects on exhibit

Alvaro Siza attracted a large audience to a lectio magistralis held in Enna on July 15. The study and meeting sessions with the famous architect who won the Pritzker Prize in 1992 are the prologue for an exhibition open until September 15 2011.

The exhibition?s ambitious goal is to offer a complete synthesis of Alvaro Siza?s career and present his whole world, as well as looking into the impact of his thought in contemporary architecture and beyond.

The exhibition includes not only sketches, drawings and models of the architect?s projects but also sculptures, furniture and objects designed by Alvaro Siza.
The plan for the entrance to the Alhambra, Siza?s most recent project, was presented during the lectio magistralis.
