The Triennale in Milan hosts an exhibition of the projects which have won the 2013 Mies van der Rohe Award until September 1.



2013 Mies van der Rohe Award Exhibition – Triennale Milano
40 architectural projects built in the past two years, presented through photographic panels and models built by the architects in question, form the exhibition of the Mies van der Rohe Award at the Triennale in Milan until September 1 2013.

335 architectural projects were submitted for the award, all projects built in the past two years selected by groups of experts, members of the dell'ACE (Architects’ Council of Europe) and other architects? associations.
From among these projects, the panel of judges chaired by architect Wiel Arets (Wiel Arets Architekten - Maastricht) selected five finalists for the award, the winner of the special mention for emerging architects and 34 projects to be included in the exhibition.
The exhibition at the Triennale in Milan opened with a convention on “Constructing Europe. 25 Years of Architecture. Breaking New Ground’’ with the participation of architect Osbjørn Jacobsen of Henning Larsen Architects, winners of the 2013 prize for the Harpa concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavik.
