Rapt Studio, eccentric but professional for LinkedIn

Sport & Wellness, Companies,

Rapt Studio, eccentric but professional for LinkedIn

In Silicon Valley, LinkedIn asked the California designers of Rapt Studio to come up with a project for its headquarters. Rapt Studio had already produced a number of projects for major brands such as Google, Vans and Campari, and can now add yet another well-known international trademark to the list.

The brief provided by LinkedIn consisted of creation of a number of installations to add to the space and underline the brand's style, which is both professional and eccentric. The installations will be arranged on five levels in the information technology giant's offices. The concept presented by Rapt Studio suggested working around a different theme on each floor. LinkedIn chose five themes and Rapt Studio developed an installation that maintains the connection with the company's values and the community of employees.

On the "National Parks Floor", for example, the architects created posters like those of the WPA, each of which emphasises one of the brand's guidelines. On the "Necktie Floor", on the other hand, the installations look as though they are sewn into the wall: texts recalling LinkedIn's key themes, "transform" and "connect".

Floor after floor, the great variety of eccentric works of art and installations created by Rapt Studio clearly reflects the company's mantra: work and play go hand in hand.
