The Italian non-profit association H2O nuovi scenari per la sopravvivenza (H2O new scenarios for survival) has received important recognition with a second prize at the 2011 Green Dot Awards in Los Angeles.
The non-profit association H2O nuovi scenari per la sopravvivenza has been awarded another prize: its Water = Life project is among the winners of the 2011 Green Dot Awards in Los Angeles, where it came second in the Media category.Among thousands of entries from 25 different countries, the team consisting of Cintya Concari, Roberto Marcatti and Andrea Rovatti was the only Italian team to go to the finals and win a prize.
The educational project H2O, Water = Life aims to safeguard water resources through architecture and design projects conveying knowledge and awareness while at the same time giving absolute priority to the environment and to sustainability on our planet without neglecting ethical and social concerns.
The Water = Life project was also presented with prestigious awards in Italy in 2011, including an honourable mention at the 23rd Compasso d'oro Awards in Rome and the Teknè prize for good environmental and territorial practice on the Salento peninsula.
